Maggie's Mercantile will be hosting its 3rd annual Farm Festival June 20th at 7686 Route 819 Hunker, PA! Those who are as an enthusiastic about organic, vegan, vegetarian, and raw food as us are encouraged to come and support the local farming festival.

The Farm Festival will include a variety of guests and events such as:

• Derrick Jensen: Author of Endgame, The Culture of Make Believe, and A Language Older than Words.  Jensen was named one of the Utne Reader's "50 Visionary Who Are Changing your World." and won the Eric Hoffer Award in 2008. He is also an author for the New York Times Magazine, Audubon, and The Sun  Magazine.
  

• Jim Donovan: Member of Drum The Ecstatic

• James LaVeck and Jenny Stein: Documentary filmmakers. They are the co-founders of Tribe of Heart and producers of award-winning The Witness and Peaceable Kingdom.

• Rob Barron: Local food expert and general manager of the East End Food Co-op in Pittsburgh, PA. 

There will also be three local be three local bands, activities for children (including an inflatable and dunking booth), and food from four vegan vendors.

Admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children. It will occur rain or shine, and incase of rain, tents will be provided.
