The staff at Maggie’s has become increasingly interested in expanding our menu to include raw or living foods.  After Maggie and Stahlstown chef, Sharon Deter, went on a restaurant tour last year of vegan and raw restaurants in Manhatten, they came home excited and inspired  to explore this healthful way of preparing food themselves.

In time, Maggie learned about a young, raw ‘foodist’ in Pittsburgh, Matt Miller, who had some interest in turning his passion into a career.  With the addition of Matt to the Stahlstown kitchen team, Maggie’s  is pleased to offer all raw options in both restaurants.
